SA1 are excited to announce that we have a new member of our Support
Team, Cameron Williams. Cameron has come to SA1 after completing his
Cyber Security Advance Apprenticeship at Fujitsu’s Security Operations
Centre in Warrington. Cameron will now be part of the 1st line support
team assisting all customer support enquiries, as well as assisting in
any cyber security projects or initiatives.
Cameron applied for the position at SA1 after completing his
apprenticeship as he wanted to gain a broader understanding and
experience within the IT industry. Cameron commented, “I thoroughly
enjoyed my apprenticeship and feel I have learnt a lot of valuable
information about cyber security. When I found the advertisement at SA1,
it appealed to me as I was looking to take the next step in my career
and broaden my knowledge base. I believe the varied tasks and situations
available to me at SA1 will really give me the additional experience I
need.”
Stephen Lawrance, SA1’s helpdesk manager commented, “With cyber
security being such an important topic in the IT industry, Cameron’s
experience made him stand out from the other applicants. When we
interviewed Cameron, it was his honest approach and eagerness to expand
his skillset that truly made us feel he was the perfect fit for us.”
Simon Ahearne, managing director at SA1 has commented, “Cameron has
been a welcomed addition to the team. Here at SA1 we are continuously
growing and developing, and are always eager to give young individuals
the chance to gain the experience they require. With cyber security
being such an important topic within the industry, and being an
organisation that prides ourselves on helping our customers stay
protected, taking on an individual who already had experience in the
area was always going to be an added benefit for us. Cameron has fitted
in well with our support team and has already assisted some of our more
senior engineers in projects revolving around cyber security.”
