The Waterfront Community Church’s Christmas Hamper Project!

Last Christmas Brentacre Insurance introduced SA1 Solution’s to the Waterfront Community Church’s Christmas Hamper project and we are excited to announce that we will be getting involved again this year! For the past few years the Waterfront Community Church has been organising hampers to help local families who are most in need during this festive season. The families are mainly from the Swansea area and last year a total of 25 hampers were collected.

Last year was the first year that SA1 was involved in the effort and this year we would like to help spread the word about this great cause, in the hope that we can raise more hampers! Companies or individuals that would like to get involved can either donate a set amount of money so that the Community can create a hamper on their behalf or donate some items to put into the Hampers. Suggested items include; (in date) tinned food, (in date) dry food, juice, baby products, cleaning products, Christmas festive food etc.

Volunteers gather during the first week of December to assemble the hampers and they are then distributed through Swansea’s Social Services to families most in need. This may not completely solve the problems that face these families but it will make this festive time of year more enjoyable.

If you would like to get involved please contact Rhian at the Waterfront Community Church on 07843 487804 or email Rhian@waterfrontchurch.org
